Spectrum Band

Biography

The Spectrum Band was founded by Earl Clark in the 70's. Over the years, this group played many of the most prestigious events in the Tulsa area including a 2009 performance for presidents Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush. Carrying on the tradition that made this group a first choice for weddings, country clubs, festivals and charities has come natural. Fronted by the fabulous Starr Fisher, The Spectrum Band brings a wide variety of danceable and enjoyable music that includes R&B, jazz, blues, rock, cajun and island tunes.

Spike Gore on drums and Mike Leland on keyboard are the two members with the longest history in the band. A long succession of guitarists have graced the Spectrum stage, but Mike McClure grabbed his chance over 10 years ago and hasn't let go - all to the joy of Spectrum fans. Loren Stidham on bass brings an added dimension to the band with his smooth vocals and stellar bass presentation. Wilson Conde rounds out the group on congas and constantly keeps the mood light on stage.

This is a band that always has fun and never minds if everyone joins in.
